According to Video Monkey's developers, this app is easy to use and capable of dealing with many different formats. If this app is installed on a Mac computer, it was probably installed via the 'bundling' method. Applications promoted using this method usually collect information such as IP addresses, search queries, geo-locations, URLs of visited websites, and other data (including personal/sensitive details). Importantly, developers share the information with third parties (potentially, cyber criminals) who misuse it to generate revenue. Thus, having information tracking apps installed can lead to various issues including, for example, problems relating to privacy and browsing safety and, in some cases, even identity theft.
